Why B2B Companies Should Request a HubSpot Demo Before a Free Trial

By Will Steward on Sun, Sep 1, 2024

So you've heard of HubSpot, and someone somewhere has told you an amazing story about how it transformed their business, or helped them solve a business challenge you're having as well.

HubSpot has the potential to serve as a central hub that effectively manages your sales deals, automates marketing tasks, hosts webpages, and offers valuable analytics insights for informed decision-making.

Like many established SaaS companies, HubSpot has free packages of various tools you can try.

To really understand HubSpot and how it can help your business, we recommend a different approach to just playing around with their free software.

Request a free demo from their team.

In our experience, it'll help you out faster.

They'll ask you about your business and the challenges you face, and tailor a free demo to you which will help you quickly understand whether it's the solution you're looking for or not.

The free tools, whilst free, don't come close to the paid software in terms of the depth of the solution. Their use-cases are often fairly limiting, and using them doesn't tell you much about whether you'd get value from HubSpot's broader offering.

There's also another offering of HubSpot's that lots of people don't know about: their free two week trial of HubSpot Professional, which allows you to explore HubSpot's broader functionality in a way their free tools don't. It's great for trying out the premium functionality after you've had a demo, so you can get a feel for the tools yourself.

Click here to request a free 14 day HubSpot Professional trial.

Lot's of people aren't aware that these options are easily available to them these days, as HubSpot promote their free software as the main options on their website.

If you're just looking for a quick web form, or something extremely basic, then HubSpot's free tools might well solve your problem and give you what you want.

But if you want to really understand whether HubSpot's platform is the right solution for your growing business? Request a free demo and then a free trial.

How to Get The Most Out of Your Free 2 Week Trial of HubSpot Professional

First things first, you had a demo, right? HubSpot's a big platform, and most people benefit from having someone show them around before they get stuck in for themselves.

Once you've had your free demo, we recommend getting stuck into the HubSpot academy. They have loads of free courses on HubSpot you can follow, which will help you to get as much value as possible from your free trial.

What free courses should you take? All depends on what you want to try.

If you want to get the most out of a free trial of HubSpot Sales for example, check out the HubSpot Sales Hub Software free certification. In less than 2 hours you'll be an expert in HubSpot's sales tools, and be able to get stuck in with your free trial in a way you'd struggle without.

Some of their best free courses are as follows:

  • HubSpot Marketing Hub Certification - this is the longest certification course, it takes just under 5 hours, but after completion you'll have a good sense of how the marketing hub works, and how you can use it within your free trial effectively. You'll learn how to use HubSpot to market your business.
  • HubSpot Sales Hub Certification - at just under 2 hours, this free course will provide you with a solid grounding of the HubSpot Sales Hub. It'll teach you how to use HubSpot to sell more.
  • HubSpot Service Hub Certification - at a bit over 2 hours, this free course is great for getting to grips with HubSpot's range of Customer Service software, to help you retain and expand your customer accounts.
  • HubSpot Content Hub Certification - this free course explores HubSpot's Content Hub / CMS, and will help developers get to grips with using HubSpot to build a marketing website. It takes just over 3 hours.

All sound a bit too much? We get it.

HubSpot isn't simple software, unfortunately it's important if you're going to evaluate and implement it yourself, that you have this knowledge available to someone on your team. Otherwise you'll only scratch the surface, and fail to really understand the software's capabilities.

When companies don't invest their time in training, we find their implementations tend to suffer as well. Regardless of the inbound marketing platform you choose to implement.

If you're already snowed under with work, and you think your company might benefit from having someone implement HubSpot on your behalf, or show you the way forward, request a free consultation with us, and we'd be delighted to help you.
